1. The spirit of this policy
Uretyco exists to make custom manufacturing accessible to engineers and businesses. We support an enormous range of legitimate use cases, from a single prototype to ongoing production. This policy lists the narrow set of activities we cannot accept on the platform, and the principles that guide our judgment in less obvious cases.
2. Prohibited parts and uses
You may not use the platform to design, order, or have produced any of the following:
- Functional firearms, firearm components subject to national arms regulations, suppressors, or unregistered weapons of any kind.
- Components of explosive, incendiary, chemical, biological, or radiological devices.
- Parts intended primarily to facilitate a crime, including but not limited to skimmers, lock-picks for unauthorised use, or burglary tools.
- Parts that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights without authorisation.
- Counterfeit goods, including replicas of branded items presented as authentic.
- Items prohibited by the export control or trade sanctions of Türkiye, the European Union, the United States, or the destination country.
- Medical implants or devices intended for in-body use unless ordered through our regulated-industries pathway with appropriate documentation.
- Children's toys with safety-critical features that bypass applicable certification (CE, EN 71, etc.) when intended for retail sale.
3. Platform misuse
You may not:
- Use the platform to attempt to access systems, accounts, or data that are not yours.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to penetrate platform security beyond reasonable academic research with prior written permission.
- Run automated scraping or large-scale automated quote generation outside a documented API agreement.
- Use the AI co-pilot in a way that bypasses safety filters or extracts model behaviour beyond legitimate use.
- Submit fraudulent payment instruments, falsified company information, or impersonate another person or organisation.
4. Respect for intellectual property
You represent that you own or have the right to use any CAD files, drawings, brand assets, or specifications you upload. You agree not to upload content that infringes patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets. We respond to credible takedown notices and may suspend orders pending review.
5. Regulated industries
Aerospace, medical, defence, and food-contact applications carry industry-specific obligations. Declare the regulatory regime at Order time. We accept these Orders only when a partner with the appropriate qualification is available and the documentation requirements can be met. Misrepresentation of regulatory context is a material breach of this policy.
6. Violations and consequences
Violations of this policy may lead to immediate Order cancellation, account suspension, and termination of access. We may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with their investigation as required by law. Cancellation under this section does not entitle you to a refund of work already performed.
7. Reporting concerns
If you believe a part, account, or activity on the platform violates this policy or applicable law, contact info@urety.co. Reports are reviewed in good faith and typically acknowledged within 2 business days.
