Where do I start when ordering a custom part?

Start by uploading your file for a prototype or repeat production. Your production choices and technical requirements are reviewed together.

Share your model, quantity and material requirements for casting and molding. Tooling needs, surface quality and repeat production volumes determine the process and quotation.

Files and technical requirements

Use STEP or a suitable CAD model for 3D parts, STL for 3D printing and DXF for cut sheet metal. Specify critical dimensions, threads, tolerances and surface requirements in a technical drawing. Check supported formats at the upload step.

Material, quantity and price

Material grade, geometry, quantity, tolerances, finishing and inspection requirements affect price. Select material and production options in the quote flow and add special requirements in the notes.

Production and estimated delivery

Lead time depends on process, capacity, material sourcing, quality inspection and transport planning. Check the estimated delivery in your quote and follow updates on your project page after ordering.
