What is Uretyco?

Uretyco is an AI-powered manufacturing procurement platform that helps users move from an idea or CAD model to a quoted, produced, inspected, and delivered custom part.

Overview

Uretyco connects people who need custom parts with manufacturing capabilities across CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal, laser cutting, molding, casting, finishing, inspection, and delivery. The goal is to make manufacturing accessible to founders, product teams, engineers, purchasing teams, students, and non-technical creators without removing the engineering checks required for reliable production.

The platform is designed around a simple flow: upload your model or drawing, let Uretyco analyze the part, compare realistic manufacturing options, receive a quote, confirm the order, and track production through supplier matching, quality control, packaging, and delivery.

Who it is for

User typeTypical needHow Uretyco helps
Non-technical creatorA product idea, prototype, enclosure, fixture, or replacement partExplains process choices and required files in plain language.
Engineer or designerManufacturable CAD with tolerances, materials, and finish requirementsChecks manufacturability signals and exposes cost, lead-time, and quality tradeoffs.
Startup or hardware teamPrototype iterations and small batch productionCompares speed, cost, supplier capability, and repeatability.
Purchasing teamReliable supplier sourcing and clear order scopeStructures RFQ data, supplier matching, inspection requirements, and delivery expectations.

What Uretyco analyzes

  • Geometry signals such as size, wall thickness, holes, bends, pockets, undercuts, overhangs, and accessible machining directions.
  • File type and manufacturing intent, including STEP/STP for mechanical parts, STL or 3MF for printed models, DXF for flat laser-cut parts, and PDF drawings for tolerances.
  • Material and process compatibility, including strength, heat exposure, cosmetics, corrosion resistance, flexibility, food/contact requirements, and expected quantity.
  • Quote drivers such as machine time, material volume, setup effort, tooling needs, finish, inspection, packaging, delivery speed, and supplier availability.

What Uretyco is not

Engineering responsibility

Uretyco provides manufacturing guidance, AI-assisted analysis, quote support, and procurement coordination. Final suitability for safety-critical, regulated, or highly loaded applications should be confirmed by the customer, responsible engineer, and applicable standards before production.

The Knowledge Base is educational. It does not replace a final legal agreement, certified engineering review, controlled drawing, or project-specific quality plan. Binding terms, privacy notices, and contractual rules should be reviewed on the linked policy pages.

Common use cases

  • Functional prototypes for electronics enclosures, brackets, mounts, gears, jigs, fixtures, and product housings.
  • Low-volume metal and plastic parts where speed and supplier availability matter more than high-volume tooling economics.
  • Sheet metal panels, brackets, covers, laser-cut profiles, and bent assemblies that require DXF, bend data, and finish notes.
  • Bridge production before tooling, pilot batches, repeat orders, and manufacturing feasibility checks before a launch.

Where to start

  1. 1
Upload the best model you have

A STEP/STP file is preferred for machined, molded, or sheet metal parts. Use STL or 3MF for 3D printing and DXF for flat laser cutting.

  2. 2
    Describe the use case

Tell Uretyco where the part will be used, expected load, environment, cosmetics, quantity, and deadline.

  3. 3
    Review process suggestions

Compare recommended manufacturing methods by cost, strength, precision, surface finish, and lead time.

  4. 4
    Confirm the order scope

Add drawings, tolerances, finish requirements, inspection needs, packaging notes, and delivery address before checkout.
