Lightweight stiff composite for structural prototypes and lightweight tooling.

Carbon-fiber-reinforced PA12 (CF-PA12) trades a bit of toughness for a substantial gain in stiffness. Useful for structural prototypes, lightweight jigs, robotic end-of-arm tooling, and any part that needs less flex than standard nylon offers.

Anisotropy and brittleness

Stiffer than PA12 but more brittle. Avoid sharp internal corners and impact-loaded sections. For structural primary loads, use metal or specialty CF prepreg.
