Workflow Overview
Uretyco turns an incomplete manufacturing question into a structured order scope. The platform collects the model, extracts manufacturing signals, asks for missing intent, estimates price and lead time, and routes the confirmed job toward suitable production capacity.
- 1Upload data
Add CAD, DXF, drawings, reference images, notes, and quantity requirements.
- 2Analyze manufacturability
Uretyco reviews geometry, process fit, file completeness, dimensions, and risk areas such as thin walls or inaccessible features.
- 3Guide decisions
The AI assistant helps compare materials, processes, finishes, tolerances, and cost-saving alternatives.
- 4Calculate price
The quote engine estimates machine time, material, setup, finish, inspection, logistics, quantity effects, and supplier capacity.
- 5Match suppliers
After order confirmation, Uretyco evaluates supplier capability, location, workload, quality history, and lead-time fit.
- 6Produce and inspect
Production proceeds with the selected scope, required inspection checks, packaging instructions, and delivery tracking.
Important decision points
| Decision | Why it matters | What to provide |
|---|---|---|
| Process | Controls achievable geometry, tolerance, finish, cost, and speed | Use case, quantity, strength need, cosmetic expectation |
| Material | Affects strength, heat resistance, weight, corrosion, flexibility, and price | Preferred grade or performance target |
| Tolerance | Tight tolerances increase inspection and production effort | PDF drawing with critical dimensions only where needed |
| Finish | Changes appearance, corrosion resistance, friction, masking, and lead time | Finish name, color, gloss, texture, and masking zones |
| Delivery | Urgency affects supplier matching and production routing | Deadline, destination, packaging sensitivity |
AI and human review
The AI assistant is used to make manufacturing choices easier to understand. It can surface likely processes, missing file information, cost drivers, and questions that a manufacturer would normally ask. For complex or high-risk orders, Uretyco can still require human engineering review before production starts.
AI suggestions should be treated as manufacturing decision support. The confirmed order, drawings, selected tolerances, and customer approvals remain the source of truth for production.
Supplier matching
Supplier selection is not only about the lowest price. Uretyco can consider machine capability, material availability, process specialization, inspection capability, geographic proximity, workload, historical performance, and the urgency of the order.
What customers control
- The part geometry, revision, intended use, target quantity, selected material, selected finish, and required lead time.
- Which dimensions are critical and which can follow typical manufacturing tolerance expectations.
- Whether a quote is acceptable, whether a suggested alternative should be used, and whether the order should proceed.
- Whether confidentiality, inspection, packaging, documentation, or regulated-use requirements need special handling.
What happens after order
After checkout, the order scope is locked for the active production run unless a revision is requested. Uretyco coordinates production readiness, supplier assignment, clarification questions, manufacturing progress, inspection records where applicable, packaging, shipment, and issue resolution.
