17-4 PH is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel. Heat treated to H900 condition it reaches ~1310 MPa tensile while still providing good corrosion resistance — far stronger than 304 or 316L. Common in aerospace fittings, oilfield tools, and DMLS metal printing.
