Engineering Standards for manufacturing in Türkiye
Manufacturing partners are expected to meet the technical and quality requirements of accepted jobs. Requirements are clarified before ordering.
Quality Management
We expect every partner to keep production and inspection records for each job.
- ISO 9001 or equivalent certification is an advantage; jobs that require a certificate are assigned only to partners holding it.
- A final check of critical dimensions before shipment to Uretyco.
- Production proof (measurements and photos) submitted to Uretyco before every shipment.
- Production and inspection records kept for each job and provided to Uretyco on request.
Manufacturing Tolerances
Precision is non-negotiable. Our network operates on strict technical specs.
- CNC Machining: ISO 2768-mK for metals and ISO 2768-cK for plastics on non-toleranced dimensions.
- 3D Printing: SLA/PolyJet ±0.2 mm or ±0.2%, SLS/MJF ±0.3 mm or ±0.3%, FDM ±0.5 mm or ±0.5%, whichever is greater.
- Sheet Metal: ±0.1 mm for cut features, ±0.5 mm for formed/bent dimensions, ±1° for bend angles.
- Strict adherence to specified GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Material Integrity
Material authenticity is the foundation of part reliability.
- Material certificates (e.g. EN 10204 3.1) whenever an order requires them, and material traceability for every job.
- Material exactly as defined in the order; an equivalent grade does not authorise a change.
- Genuine documents only, matching the delivered parts and the material batch.
- Certificates and compliance statements only when they are held and can be verified.
Standard Tolerance Matrix
Default manufacturing tolerances when not specified in technical drawings. For 3D printing, whichever value is greater applies.
Technical Note: Tighter tolerances apply only when they are stated on the drawing and accepted in the quote. The partner must review and confirm such requirements before starting production.
Digital Quality Assurance & Traceability
We take a digital-first approach to quality control. Before every shipment to Uretyco, production proof is uploaded to the Uretyco platform; Uretyco then inspects the parts on receipt.
Digital QC Reports
Upload measurements and photos for the job before shipping to Uretyco.
Material Traceability
Link batch or heat numbers and certificates to the parts when the order requires it.
Shipping Records
Link quantity, part and revision to the shipping documents and enter the tracking information on the platform.
